If you want to improve mood, digestion, to lose or gain weight, improve your cholesterol or heart health, strengthen bones or balance blood sugar, this is the best type of visit. We explore what you want, clarify your wellness vision and aims. We review 9 aspects of wellbeing in a holisitic way. You may have homework between sessions for self-assessment. Your coach, Cynthia supports you to stay in the drivers seat following your passion towards amazing results in joy, vitality, health rewards.
Initial visit generally 1 hr, 30 min. 5-8 sessions over 6 months is recommended.
Initial visit fee is $150. Subsequent sessions $50-$90.
Nourishing Resilience (NR)
6 weekly classes. Recover from life's stressors faster. Nourishing Resilience promotes the brain states for healthier weight and lifestyle choices. Based on positive psychology, attachment theory, neuroplasticity and stress science, this series offers skills-based training for less anxiety, depression and greater stress resilience. Nourishing Resilience and it's prior versions (Solution Method, Emotional Brain Training) has been offerred in Charlottesville since 2006.

8 Weeks Towards Wellness
This class series is for people who want to reduce blood sugar, blood pressure or weight while learning experiential self-care skills within a caring small-class setting. Meets weekly for 8 weeks and one 1/2 day informal retreat with cooking demonstration. Includes two nutritionist visits. Learn skills of self regulation, resilience and recovery from stressors -- and also "tune up" nutrition, exercise, & lifestyle skills for disease prevention and reversal. Eating Mindfully for Health & Weight
Meets every-other week for 6 weeks,phone or in-person group sessions. We'll explore The Mindful Diet by Ruth Q Wolever, PhD and Beth Reardon, MS, RD. 1.25 hr weekly.
